SurgCenter Of St. Lucie, is seeking a motivated Receptionist/Front Desk/Scheduler to join our team. SurgCenter of St. Lucie  is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. 

Job description

Completes necessary paperwork for registration using computer system (AdvantX).

Checking in patients via electronic medical record (AdvantX)

Handles financial responsibilities per guidelines: collecting insurance co-pays

Must be able to multitask efficiently

Collects and distributes mail and messages

Medical billing and coding experience (ICD10)

Patient chart preparation, assembly, and filing (as needed)

Maintains clean and orderly waiting area

Performs other related duties as assigned

Able to develop communication skills and promote inter-departmental relationships to ensure continuity of care

Excellent customer service, communication and phone skills

Reliable and Punctual

Strong organizational skills

Experience with scheduling/verification using Advantix (preferred)

• Experienced medical front desk receptionist (minimum 1 year)
• Experienced with scheduling (minimum 1 year)
• Experienced with insurance verifications and authorizations (minimum 1 year)
• High School diploma or equivalent

• Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience. This is a Full-time Monday-Friday position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: contingent on experience
