We are currently accepting applications for an ACH Specialist. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 1:30 pm-10:00 pm MDT. This position will be working from home and in office.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Accurately perform functions related to ACH transactions in compliance with regulatory and bank policies and procedures.
Be responsible for daily Automated Clearing House Origination procedures, including processing ACH files from clients and internal systems; returns, reversals, rejects, death notification entries, reclamations, perform OFAC verification, process exception items, implement and maintain ACH contract setups for ACH Origination clients.
Pull and review daily reports, reconciliations and data entry in accordance with bank and regulatory guidance.
Learn and understand Federal Regulation E, The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and NACHA Operating Rules and Guidelines.
Manage workflow to optimize efficiency in day-to-day activities.
Identify customer and business partner needs using effective troubleshooting methods.
Perform transactional research, problem solving and some technical issues.
Provide outstanding customer service to bank clients and business partners.
Respond to inquiries both verbally and in writing.
Determine trends and variances in daily processing and identify areas in which positive changes can be made.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some experience with accounting, balancing, banking and electronic payment processing, ACH systems or other directly related experience.
A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
Basic knowledge of accounting, balancing, banking, electronic payment processing or other directly related.
Must have good research, customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to meet deadlines, resolve issues with assistance/direction.
