In this key position, you will handle and oversee guarantor billing/collections, customer service, pre-collect/bad debt vendor management, charity care management and credit/refund processing. This will involve taking overall responsibility for improving processes between internal information technology departments and the electronic claims payment systems. You will:
· Address and fix problem areas that decrease/hinder efficiencies
· Make recommendations for improving technologies, processes, etc.
· Strive to increase collections at a reduced cost
· Monitor and control relevant budget items
· Install and maintain controls mandated by audits
· Manage and develop supervisors as direct reports
· Manage and train a staff of 25 – 35
· Ensure timely and accurate handling and management of self-pay refunds
· Deliver timely resolution of patient credit balances
· Ensure full compliance with all local, county, state, federal and contractual regulations
· Maintain the account escalation process for resolving difficult accounts
QualificationsWe’re seeking a detail-oriented, self-directed, customer-focused professional with:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Three or more years of managerial experience
· Experience managing self-pay accounts receivable
· Exceptional communication skills
· Proven expertise in call center management
