The Accounting Clerk III serves as a contact for students, faculty and staff entering or calling Retriever Integrated Health, and addresses billing and insurance concerns.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Management of enrollment of international students' and graduate assistants’ waivers
• Enrollment of students into Aetna Student Health, the university’s health insurance plan 
• Post commercial insurance payments 
• Assist in administering the health insurance waiver process for undergraduate students
• Provide health insurance information to patients, which includes students, faculty and staff 
• Follow up with accounts receivable inquiries 
• Create adjustment requests for billing errors
• Provide backup coverage for RIH’s front desk and check-out window as necessary
• Maintain credentialing by ensuring that required licenses, certificates and other titles for providers are in good standing
• Manage documentation for the daily deposits
• Participate in outreach events when needed
