Drive electronic execution product and client expansion, in line with internal business goals and external market structure, in support of Citi's goal to be a leading Fixed Income franchise.
The Salesperson will be responsible for coordinating and implementing eCommerce strategy in Rates and Credit, in partnership with wider sales, trading, and technology partners, both regionally and globally.
Refine and implement sales/marketing strategy to improve Citi's client footprint and maximize associated revenue
Work with management/colleagues to establish a clear marketing plan with defined priorities, market penetration and market share goals
Advise team on our market position and provide data analysis to influence decision making process.
Identify and address product and/or client gap
Constantly looking to improve processes and introduce best practice in the workflow
Daily tasks include trouble shooting and issue handling with regards to access setup and operational issue that arise from electronic transactions.
Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
3-5 years of relevant experience
Experience in a client-facing role working with the buy-side community
Sales experience at a financial services organization
Proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Broad knowledge of market structure, including regulatory landscape in relation to trade execution, transparency and reporting requirement.
Experience and interest in data analytics is a plus
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
