TheFirmwide Intraday Liquidity Program is one of the top initiatives both acrossthe firm and within CIB Technology. The dashboard was launched inmid-2015 and we have used Agile to iterate quickly and deliver additionalfunctionality. So far, the technology solutionprovides stakeholders a real time view of the firm's liquidityintraday, calculates the firm's intraday positions, generates and sends alertswhen specified indicators and limits are breached, and has a repository ofdata for management and regulatory reporting. The Intraday Liquidityapplication (IDL) will be the future source of all data for the strategic CashManagement platform, Cash Position Reporting (CPR) which currently has directinterfaces with multiple systems. CPR utilises prediction data to calculate andfund the Firm's Nostro accounts with an objective to automating fundingprocesses to enable significant growth in the number of accounts supported byGlobal Cash Operations, as well as developing new functionality to manageInterest expensing and allocation. The technology team is now upwards of 80developers across 4 locations and is working on, amongst other things,a cash projection tool to measure and predict liquidity needs,reporting for management information and regulatory submissions, andincorporation of credit utilization. A business/data analyst is being sought toplay a critical role on the team for the build out of data acquisition fromupstream product applications through IDL to CPR. Additionally, as IDL &CPR are cross impacted by multiple Firmwide programs such as Brexit and LEStrategy, business analyst and project management skills are required toidentify, report on and deliver the required development across theapplications. This role will be responsible for leading systems analysis andwill contribute to project documentation, including requirements, data mapping,and quality assurance project deliverables. In relation to crossimpacting projects, the role can involve being Tech Project lead for the Cashsuite of applications, requiring analysis, project management and reporting,requirement documentation and project tracking. This role will work closelywith internal business partners on all project phases and will need tounderstand the integration and data dependencies between multiple platforms.
This role requires a wide variety ofstrengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalentexperience
Advanced knowledge of businessprocesses and data analysis, as well as the ability to construct complex dataqueries and collaborate with colleagues
Ability to liaison betweenlines of business and development teams, translating strategic goals intotechnology solutions, and vice versa
Experience in projectmanagement, including scheduling, budgeting and resource planning
Understanding of businessneeds, including how data is used and managed, and functional design
Ability to work collaborativelyin teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
