This role provides the opportunity to be part of a global Compliance Technology team that spans multiple lines of business within JP Morgan Chase. As part of the Compliance Technology group, we will deliver technology solutions to capture and monitor electronic communications used by internal Surveillance and Legal departments.
You will be joining the Electronic Communications Retention and Supervision (ECRS) Technology group that will archive electronic communications globally and will provide functionality for internal Surveillance and Legal departments to collect relevant documents for compliance and legal purposes.
This functional space will require:
Working closely with business partners (such as internal Supervisors, Legal department, software vendor, other application developers and eDiscovery personnel) to define test cases.
Testing skills with an inquisitive mind.
Automate manual test steps using software such as Selenium and programming language, such as C# to improve testing efficiency and to increase testing coverage.
Formulate performance test strategy and execute performance tests using software, such as JMeter.
Verbal and written communication skills that will clearly explain the nature of the application defect.
Provide detail root cause analysis.
Documenting all test artifacts including full audit and transparency of traceability from requirements to tests, and evidence of test planning and execution.
Experience with participating in E2E test coordination efforts.
Ability to handle multiple testing initiatives and pressure to meet project milestones.
Formulate test strategy, which will include decomposing the business and technical requirements into test case scenarios, defining test data requirements, managing test case creation, devising contingency plans and other preparation activities.
Participate in SIT and UAT defect triage meetings.
Experience in one or more of the following business and technical areas:
Technical experience either as a developer or as a Production Support in electronic communication channels, such as MS Outlook, Symphony, Skype, Bloomberg, Reuters, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, WeChat.
Advance Knowledge in automation tools: Selenium Tool using C# language, JMeter and UFT
Working experience with Agile SDLC.
Experience in writing test plan and test scripts.
Ability to analyze functional requirements and develop positive and negative test cases.
Able to work independently as a self-starter as well as within a team dynamic.
Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Strong analytical mind and approach to problem solving.
Degree level qualifications.
5+ years industrial experience.
Experience with the following applications:
MS Office suite,
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM),
Alcatraz (optional) or any electronic communications archive application.
Automation Tools: HP QTP/UFT, Selenium and/or JMeter
