Under the broad guidance of the Associate Controller, provides efficient management to achieve consistent and effective daily operations of the Accounts Payable Division that makes payments to vendors and to university employees for non-payroll reimbursements. Functional areas within the Division include: approving vendor payments, approving employee payments for non-payroll reimbursements, and making payments (either electronic payments or paper check payments).Types of payments include: travel, travel advances, refunds, entertainment, financial aid, supplies & materials, registration fees, removals (relocation), honorarium, consultants, fellowships, scholarships, and payments to vendors.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
